1. Who is responsible for your data
The website vasilychernogorov.com belongs to Vasily Chernogorov. Enquiries are reviewed by Vasily Chernogorov personally. For questions about data processing, write to hello@vasilychernogorov.com.
2. What data we receive
- When you send an enquiry: your name – so that we know how to address you; your email – so that we can reply; and a description of what you need. If you choose to provide them: WhatsApp or phone, if you prefer that way of being contacted; the services you are interested in and the language of the call – so that we can prepare for the conversation; your country of business or residence – it determines which requirements apply to your case; and the “I am enquiring on behalf of a client” box – so that we understand whom we are corresponding with.
- The date and time of sending and the address of the page from which the form was sent are saved with the enquiry.
- To operate the website and protect the form from automated submissions, technical information is processed: IP address and browser characteristics.
- When you email us: your message and contact details.
We do not keep website visit statistics.
Describe what you need in general terms. Do not include passport details, bank documents, account numbers or other people’s personal data in your enquiry. If documents are needed for the work, we will agree separately how to transfer them.
3. Why we use the data
- To reply to your enquiry, clarify what you need and arrange a time for the introductory call.
- To prepare a written proposal if you decide to proceed.
- To protect the website and the form from spam, repeat submissions and abuse.
We do not use the data for marketing mailings. We do not sell the data or share it for advertising.
4. On what legal basis
We process the data in your enquiry in order to respond to your request and, at your request, to prepare a proposal before a contract is concluded. Correspondence with company representatives and protection of the website from abuse are based on our legitimate interest in conducting business correspondence and keeping the website running. We keep contract documents where the law requires it. If any processing requires your consent, we will ask for it separately.
5. Who receives the data
- Vasily Chernogorov – within the scope of your enquiry.
- Cloudflare – website hosting and form protection: the website server runs on Cloudflare and processes data on our behalf. The Cloudflare Turnstile check processes technical characteristics of the request to distinguish a person from an automated submission; Cloudflare also uses some of these characteristics to improve its own protection. More details are in the Turnstile terms.
- Formspree – receiving and storing enquiries and sending us an email about each enquiry.
- Namecheap Private Email – delivery and storage of emails for the mailbox hello@vasilychernogorov.com.
- If, at your request, we continue the conversation on WhatsApp, the messages are additionally processed by WhatsApp itself under its own rules.
- Specialist professionals – only after agreeing this with you, to the extent needed for your case and on an appropriate legal basis.
6. Where the data is processed
Cloudflare, Formspree and Namecheap Private Email are used to operate the website, receive enquiries and handle correspondence. Processing may take place in other countries. Formspree states that its infrastructure is located in the USA.
7. How long we keep the data
- An enquiry that did not lead to work – no longer than six months after the last substantive contact; we then delete it from the Formspree account and from email.
- If we have started working under a contract – for the term of the contract and for the period during which the law requires documents to be kept.
You can ask us to delete an enquiry earlier.
8. Your rights
You can find out what data we hold about you, obtain a copy and correct inaccuracies. Erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent are available on the terms provided by applicable law. Write to hello@vasilychernogorov.com. We handle requests within the time limits set by applicable law. Where the GDPR applies, the usual response time is one month; where necessary it may be extended by a further two months, taking into account the complexity and number of requests, and we inform you of the extension and the reasons for it within the first month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
9. Cookies and form protection
We do not use advertising trackers or visit analytics. To prevent the form from being submitted twice, a technical identifier is stored temporarily in the browser. Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical characteristics of the request to protect against automated submissions; the check usually goes unnoticed but may require action from the visitor. 10. Email and messengers
If, at your request, we continue the conversation in a messenger such as WhatsApp, the messages are additionally processed by that service under its own rules. Do not send documents and information that require particular care either by messenger or by ordinary email: we will agree in advance how to transfer them.
11. Security
The connection to the website is secure. Access to enquiries is limited to those who need it to deal with your case.
12. Age
The website is intended for adults and is not designed for persons under 18.
13. Changes to this policy
We update the policy when the way the website works changes. The date of the current version is shown at the top of the page.
